The beauty of Cam Dong bamboo bridge

Cam Dong bamboo bridge across Vinh Dien river was built by the people of Cam Dong village, Dien Phong commune, Quang Nam province to facilitate the movement to Go Dinh alluvial land on the other side of the river for agricultural cultivation. The rustic beauty and peaceful countryside scenery help Cam Dong bamboo bridge become an interesting destination for tourists when coming to Quang Nam.

The bridge is made of bamboo, tens of meters long, less than a meter wide, much higher than the water surface and has a handrail on one side. The simple bamboo bridge is like a silk cloth across the Vinh Dien River, creating a beautiful picture of the countryside.

Bamboo bridges help people cross alluvial land for agricultural production.

Previously, people in Cam Dong village who wanted to go to Go Dinh alluvial land on the other side of the river to cultivate had to row boats across. Later, because it was too inconvenient, local households contributed to build a bamboo bridge to facilitate farming.

The simple bridge is made from old bamboo trees in the village.

The bridge is associated with the daily production activities of more than 300 households in Cam Dong village.

Every time they harvest crops, people divide them into small pieces and push them in carts across the bamboo bridge to cross the river.

Sunset by the bamboo bridge has attracted many photographers to capture beautiful moments of the peaceful countryside.
