Recently, Vietnam Foreign Trade Commercial Bank (Vietcombank) has focused its resources on launching the new generation VCB Digibank (digital banking service), with a focus on innovating the user experience and enhancing personalization, with interface and experience versions tailored to different customer segments. The features of Vietcombank's Digibank have been quickly embraced and highly appreciated by customers. Vietcombank is also the first bank to utilize the electronic authentication service of the Ministry of Public Security , allowing customers to easily update their biometric information online through an app-to-app connection between the VCB Digibank application and the VNeID application (in addition to the solution using chip-embedded citizen identification cards and NFC-enabled phones as already implemented).

Vietcombank Lao Cai currently serves approximately 70,000 customers (accounting for nearly 10% of the province's population), of which 60% have experienced Vietcombank's digital banking services and have given positive feedback.
