Preventing party members from violating regulations.

The Party Committee of Phu Thu Ward, Cai Rang District, has 21 branches (12 neighborhood branches, 6 school branches, and 3 agency branches), with 726 Party members. From 2020 to the present, the entire Party Committee has only had 3 members who violated regulations. Annually, over 95% of Party members complete their tasks well or better, and 100% of the Party branches and the ward Party Committee complete their tasks well or better. This result is partly due to the Party Committee and the Ward Party Committee's Inspection Committee doing a good job of inspection and supervision, proactively and effectively preventing Party members from degenerating and violating regulations.

The Party Committee and its branches have strictly implemented the process of evaluating and supporting the construction of solidarity houses in Phu Thu ward, and have closely monitored and supervised the construction process, thus preventing any negative incidents.

To prevent violations among cadres and Party members, the Party Committee of the ward, its subordinate branches, and the Party Committee's Inspection Committee of the ward will strengthen inspection and supervision work; effectively implement the motto "supervision with breadth and inspection with focus and priorities"; and pay attention to inspecting and supervising areas that are pressing, sensitive, and prone to negative practices.

According to Comrade Vo Minh Quang, Secretary of the Party Branch and Head of the Thanh Thoi area, the Party Branch always pays attention to the management, education , inspection, and supervision of Party members. Monthly, at the regular meeting, the Party Branch Committee comprehensively implements all aspects of Party building work for Party members, such as: promoting self-criticism and criticism, fostering exemplary behavior, ensuring that words match actions, fulfilling commitments to avoid moral decay, and following Uncle Ho's example through meaningful actions... The Party Branch Committee pays attention to understanding the thoughts, aspirations, and emerging issues among Party members in order to promptly correct shortcomings and weaknesses. For many years, the Party Branch has had no Party members violating regulations.

Comrade Do Van Toan, Party Committee member and Deputy Head of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee of the ward, said: "Over the past five years, the Party Committee and the Party Committee's Inspection Committee of the ward have developed annual inspection and supervision programs with specific and practical contents. These programs focus on areas such as the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities; working regulations and grassroots democracy regulations; strengthening Party building and rectification in conjunction with promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style; the exemplary spirit of cadres and Party members; improving the quality of Party branch activities; disbursing subsidies to eligible beneficiaries; and exemplary Party members participating in and encouraging their relatives to participate in health insurance." Directing the recruitment and conscription of citizens into the military... Through inspection and supervision, the Party Committee and the Party Committee's Inspection Committee of the ward promptly detected and reminded many Party members to overcome shortcomings and weaknesses, creating positive changes and successfully completing assigned tasks; setting an example in the tasks and movements of the agency and unit.

In addition, the Party Committee and the Party Committee's Inspection Committee of the ward effectively carried out regular supervision of Party branches, cadres, and Party members, especially regarding compliance with the Party Charter, the Regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do, and the cultivation and training of character, ethics, and lifestyle... Through this, they encouraged and reminded collectives and individuals to promptly overcome limitations and shortcomings, preventing violations.

The Ward Party Committee pays attention to directing the implementation of inspection and supervision of Party members, Party members, and ward officials in carrying out administrative reform and raising their sense of responsibility in serving the people. Most administrative documents and procedures for citizens are processed on time or ahead of schedule. The Ward Party Committee directs the Party Committee's Inspection Committee and Party branches to coordinate with agencies, units, and the Ward Community Investment Monitoring Board to closely monitor the implementation of projects and works in the ward. From 2020 to the present, the ward has implemented projects to upgrade and repair the road along the Xeo Dung canal in Thanh Thang area (3,000m long), the road along the Xeo Gura canal in Khanh Binh area (5,000m long), the Go road (3,000m long), the Mat Cat road (1,000m long), upgrade and repair the road from Phu An residential area to Phu Thu Secondary School (3,200m long), repair Phu Thu 1 Primary School, install streetlights on nearly 3,000m of roads, and provide support for the construction of 30 houses for eligible beneficiaries… All projects have been completed on schedule, without any negative or corrupt practices.

Comrade Nguyen Hoang Cung, Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council, and Head of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee of the ward, affirmed: Inspection and supervision work not only effectively prevents Party members from degenerating and violating regulations, but also contributes to improving the quality of all aspects of the ward's work. The percentage of Party members studying resolutions reached over 98%, participation in health insurance reached 100%, and attendance at regular Party branch meetings reached over 95%. Every year, the ward achieves and surpasses socio- economic , national defense, security, and Party building targets. In the 2020-2025 term, the ward achieved and surpassed 14 out of 14 key targets set by the ward's Party Congress.
