The highest score required for the medical field is 25 points.

On August 18th, Tra Vinh University announced the first round of admission scores for its regular undergraduate programs in 2024. Specifically, for the method of considering the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam, the medical program had the highest admission score with 25 points; dentistry 24.62; and pharmacy 21.

Specifically for the Sports Management major, the admission score is 20 points based on the 2024 high school graduation exam results and 25 points based on the high school academic transcript.

The remaining majors have cutoff scores ranging from 15 to 19 based on the 2024 high school graduation exam results and from 18 to 25 points based on high school academic transcripts. Candidates can use their scores from the aptitude test organized by the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City or their scores from other educational institutions' cultural exams for admission (VSAT).

This year, Tra Vinh University is applying several different admission methods, including: admission based on high school graduation exam results, admission based on high school academic transcripts, and admission based on the results of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test… The high school academic transcript-based admission method is not applied to the general medicine, pharmacy, and dentistry programs.

With the goal of training high-quality medical personnel, in 2024, the School of Medicine and Pharmacy under Tra Vinh University invested in building modern facilities and equipment, such as: standard medical practice rooms; a learning resource center; spacious and comfortable student dormitories; and a green, environmentally friendly campus.
