Student Phan Nhat Quang (Ben Luc district) participates in tree planting activities organized by the school.
Phan Nhat Quang - a student of class 11A2, iSchool Long An International Integration School (Ben Luc town, Ben Luc district, Long An province), is one of the students who always proactively preserves the environment from the simplest things. Quang often participates in tree planting sessions organized by the school, considering it not only an extracurricular activity but also a way to connect with nature.
“I think planting trees is a good way to help protect the environment . Trees not only help beautify the living space, but also help improve air quality and reduce pollution,” Quang shared.
Not only planting trees, Quang also maintains many saving and green living habits such as turning off electrical appliances when not in use, taking advantage of natural light, limiting the use of air conditioners and reminding friends and relatives to properly classify household waste. He also pays attention to saving water in daily life.
“I think protecting the environment is not about doing big things, but starting with small habits every day. If everyone is conscious of protecting it, from the classroom to the house we live in, everything will become greener and cleaner,” Quang shared.
As an office worker at a company specializing in footwear and textile production, Ms. Pham Chau Anh Tu (My Le commune, Can Duoc district) is well aware of the role of a green lifestyle and recycling old items to protect the environment. On Earth Day 2025 , she actively participated in activities organized by the company such as planting trees in the factory premises, sorting waste at source, making the most of natural light and turning off electrical equipment when not needed to save energy.
"I think each of us can contribute to protecting the environment with the smallest actions. The important thing is that we are aware and do it regularly. I hope that what I do will spread the spirit of green living to my colleagues and those around me" - Ms. Tu shared. She even turns old items that seem to be discarded into many unique decorative items or useful items for daily life.
“I often paint and decorate old tires into unique chairs in the garden, and use glass bottles to make decorative flower vases. Sometimes I even sew scraps of fabric into small, pretty handbags to give to friends and colleagues,” said Ms. Tu.
From the act of cultivating green shoots, maintaining thrifty habits, and creatively recycling items, many young people actively responded to Earth Day 2025. These practical actions will continue to spread the green spirit, arousing a sense of responsibility for the environment in the community./.
