Nghe An: News Highlights March 12

* On the afternoon of March 12th, under the chairmanship of Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting with the Provincial Business Association and other Business Associations.

At the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung expressed his wish for associations, business organizations, and businesses to frankly exchange and report on obstacles and difficulties; he requested that relevant departments and localities proactively resolve the requests immediately and create the most favorable conditions for businesses to operate.

* On the morning of March 12th, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command organized a conference on coordinating training, exercises, and readiness checks for reserve mobilization forces in 2024. Nghe An province has been assigned a target by the Prime Minister and the Minister of National Defense to mobilize over 4,000 reserve soldiers for concentrated training, exercises, and readiness checks in 2024.

* On the morning of March 12th, the National Committee on the Elderly of Vietnam held a conference to review the work related to the elderly in 2023 and to implement directions and tasks for 2024.

* The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued a plan to implement the Digital Transformation Strategy for the press until 2025, with a vision to 2030, for the province's press agencies.

* On March 12th, Mr. Nguyen Van De, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended the launching ceremony for planting bamboo and rattan to prevent landslides, in response to the Government's "Planting One Billion Green Trees" program, and inspected agricultural development models in Anh Son district.
