Nghe An: Highlights of July 3rd

* On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), a delegation from the State Audit Office, led by Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, General Auditor of the State Audit Office, laid flowers and offered incense in commemoration at the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site and the Truong Bon National Historical Site.

* The Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, will organize a national training conference on propaganda and mass mobilization work in 2026.

* To prepare content for the questioning session at the 4th Session - Mid-Year Regular Session of the 19th Nghe An Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031, on the morning of July 3rd, the working group of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council conducted a field survey in Dai Dong commune and gathered information on issues related to the two planned questioning topics.

This is a meaningful opening activity within the framework of the 3rd Vietnam-Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange Program.

* The relocation of residents from buildings C5 and C6 of the Quang Trung apartment complex (Thanh Vinh ward) is being accelerated to ensure safety before the rainy season and to facilitate the renovation and reconstruction project of the old apartment complex. Specifically, the goal is to complete the relocation of all residents of buildings C5 and C6 in Quang Trung before July 19th.

* In response to the developments of Typhoon No. 1 (international name MAYSAK) and the risk of heavy rain after the typhoon, the Civil Defense Command of Nghe An province has issued a document requesting relevant localities and units to urgently implement response measures to ensure the safety of people's lives and property and minimize damage caused by natural disasters.

* On July 3, 2026, the Security Investigation Agency of the Provincial Police announced the successful arrest of suspect Nguyen Dinh Hieu for the crime of "Organizing the illegal emigration of others" that occurred in 2025 in Nghe An province. Nguyen Dinh Hieu colluded with Nguyen Thi Vinh (born in 1980), residing in Bac Chau hamlet, Van Tu commune, to organize and facilitate the illegal emigration of five citizens residing in Nghe An province from Vietnam to Europe for illegal labor.

The police are working with Nguyen Dinh Hieu.
