* On the evening of March 9th (local time), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife, along with a high-level Vietnamese delegation, arrived at Auckland Airport for an official visit to New Zealand from March 10-11 at the invitation of New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon.
Earlier, the Prime Minister , his wife, and the high-level Vietnamese delegation successfully concluded their working visit to Australia to attend the Special Summit commemorating the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-Australia relations and pay an official visit to Australia from March 5-9.

* The Vinh City Priority Infrastructure and Climate Change Adaptation Urban Development Project has been identified with a total investment of VND 4,502 billion, of which the loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) is USD 129.6 million.
On March 1, 2024, the President of Vietnam submitted Proposal No. 1/TTr-CTN regarding the signing of a loan agreement between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for the Priority Infrastructure and Climate Change Adaptation Urban Development Project in Vinh City, Nghe An Province.

* According to the planned agenda, at its 31st session, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will dedicate one working day to conducting a question-and-answer session.
Based on the selection criteria, procedures, and processes, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly decided to question two groups of issues related to finance and foreign affairs.

* To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024); the 113th anniversary of the birth of General Vo Nguyen Giap (1911-2024); the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024); and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024), the Nghe An Museum, in collaboration with the Vietnam Women's Museum and educator, journalist, and poet Nguyen Thi My Dung, is organizing the exhibition "Following in the Footsteps of the General".
The exhibition "Following in the Footsteps of the General" will open on March 13, 2024, at the Nghe An Museum, promising to provide the public and visitors from near and far with useful information and interesting experiences about the life of General Vo Nguyen Giap.

* On the morning of March 9th, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union simultaneously launched activities to implement the "Volunteer Day for a Civilized Urban Area" campaign at 100% of its Youth Union branches in urban areas.
On this peak day, Youth Union branches throughout the province are carrying out propaganda activities such as: organizing thematic discussions, and competitions to learn about the resolutions and guidelines of the Central Youth Union on implementing the "Youth participating in building civilized urban areas" movement.

* The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued Plan No. 163/KH-UBND on the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of Vietnam's Textile, Garment and Footwear Industry until 2030, with a vision to 2035, in the province.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee has set the goal of developing the textile and footwear industry into one of the key export industries and making a significant contribution to the province's GRDP, based on prioritizing the development of supporting industrial products to serve and meet the input material needs of textile and footwear businesses in the province and the Central region.

The Vietnamese Mobile Police Cavalry Unit will perform in Vinh City on the evening of March 10th.
Accordingly, the public performance program of the Mounted Police Unit under the Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security, will begin at 7:30 PM on March 10th at Ho Chi Minh Square, Vinh City, Nghe An Province.
