In Vietnam, the Hmong are the most numerous ethnic group in the Northwest region. With a long history of farming, the Hmong have developed several traditional crafts such as dyeing fabrics, weaving, and embroidering brocade patterns. Particularly noteworthy are the intricate patterns meticulously embroidered by Hmong women onto their traditional clothing, using traditional colors. Furthermore, the symbols created by drawing with beeswax on fabric represent a world of art within the Hmong people's cultural and spiritual life.
