Through various fishing methods such as line fishing, net fishing, and trap fishing, fishermen in fishing villages supply kingfish to markets year-round. Kingfish are most commonly sold in markets from cities to rural areas during the season when the kapok flowers bloom, painting the sky a vibrant red, until the fragrant scent of milkweed flowers fills every small alley. To make a delicious sour fish soup with starfruit, simply go to the market and buy a few hundred grams of fresh, bright yellow-green starfruit with shimmering eyes. Cut off the head, slit the belly to clean out the intestines, leave the fish whole (without cutting the fins or tail), rinse thoroughly with cold water (no need to marinate); add the accompanying ingredients such as thinly sliced ​​green starfruit, some herbs, scallions, cilantro, green chili peppers, black pepper, MSG, fish sauce, etc.
