The Can Loc canal area (Gia Thuan commune) is bustling with people and vehicles transporting goods and food to supply fishing boats preparing to set sail. Food supplies are transported to the area where the boats are anchored. Ship owners and crew members were busy loading essential supplies onto the ship on the morning of the 6th day of the Lunar New Year. The goods were loaded onto the ship. The ships have been refueled and are fully loaded with cargo, ready to set sail. Despite thorough preparations, mistakes are unavoidable, as in the case of Mr. Chin Nho (Gia Thuan commune). On the morning of the 6th day of Tet, his family was distraught when, close to the departure date, the crew returned the borrowed money and announced they could not participate in the first fishing trip of the year. Mr. and Mrs. Lai sat watching their fellow crew members arrange essential supplies for their first fishing trip of the year, filled with anticipation. The boats at Vam Lang Fishing Port are preparing to set sail and head out to sea.
