(Dong Thap) After the Tet holiday spent with family, in the first days of the new year, fishermen in Dong Thap are busy preparing for a new journey. From the morning of the 6th day of Tet, many offshore fishing vessels eagerly set sail, carrying the hope of a successful and profitable first fishing trip of the year.

The Can Loc canal area (Gia Thuan commune) is bustling with people and vehicles transporting goods and food to supply fishing boats preparing to set sail.

Ship owners and crew members were busy loading essential supplies onto the ship on the morning of the 6th day of the Lunar New Year.

On the morning of the 6th day of Tet, his family was distraught when, close to the departure date, the crew returned the borrowed money and announced they could not participate in the first fishing trip of the year.
