He has utilized nearly 1 hectare of his family's land, transforming a neglected garden into a farm with 700 dragon fruit trees, about 100 pomelo trees, and raising nearly 20 cows. He also grows grass around the garden as feed for the cows, generating an income of nearly 300 million VND per year.

Besides focusing on developing his own family's economy, Mr. Dien always helps households in the area escape poverty. Through neighborhood meetings, he regularly shares his experience in developing economic models, cultivation techniques, and provides seedlings to those in need. Furthermore, he consistently promotes and encourages the people to comply with the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and to diversify crop and livestock production to increase income. As a result, Zone 5 always leads in the commune's emulation movements, and Mr. Dien himself is trusted and respected by the people. During the process of building new rural areas, Mr. Dien actively mobilized residents in the area to donate land, labor, and support the construction of public welfare projects such as cultural centers, roads, street lighting, and environmental sanitation.
