I met a Red Dao woman halfway up the long slope.
Sweat poured down as they carried roofing sheets.
I will give you half a mixed orange.

Nam Phang is waiting for roof tiles to arrive to roof the school.
Barefoot, she pressed her feet against the ground, parting the mist.
The forest roof welcomed her to the other side.
My heart was warmed throughout the journey.
