Sơn Tùng's MV " Come My Way" has dropped to 7th place in the overall trending chart on YouTube. Meanwhile, "Nếu như ta chẳng còn" (If We No Longer Have Each Other), a song from MCK's new album, has risen to dominate the chart after just one day. According to YouTube data, "Nếu như ta chẳng còn" has garnered 1.3 million views (listens/watches), all of which are real views and not influenced by advertising.
Regarding the trending music list specifically, "If We Can't Be " is rapidly climbing to surpass Toc Tien, Ngo Lan Huong, Kieu Anh, and close in on Son Tung. According to the typical algorithm on the YouTube platform, in just a few days, Son Tung's "blockbuster" " Come My Way " will be knocked off the top spot in the trending music list.

This is a rare phenomenon for a Sơn Tùng music video. For example, in 2025, his two music videos, "Chúng ta của hiện tại " (Our Present) and " Đừng làm trái tim anh đau" (Don't Hurt My Heart) , dominated the "top trending" for over a month, only dropping from the top spot when YouTube proactively removed them to make way for other music videos.
The MV "Come My Way" had an excellent start, quickly reaching 30 million views in two weeks. However, in the most recent week, the increase in views for " Come My Way" slowed down, only attracting about 3 million more views. The appeal of "Come My Way" was overtaken by Binz and Soobin's "Em" . When MCK released his new album, a new trend emerged in Vietnamese music, and it's no surprise that Son Tung was surpassed.
The music video "Come My Way" was still very successful commercially. But for Son Tung, it was a step backward. The male singer ignored the tastes of Vietnamese audiences to sing in English and chose a musical style that appealed to a niche audience in Vpop. Therefore, it's not surprising that " Come My Way " couldn't maintain its top trending position for long.

Returning to the scene, MCK, the former Rap Viet contestant, is making waves with his album HVL , featuring 30 new songs. MCK is creating a sensation by releasing two or three times the number of songs compared to a typical album. The rapper doesn't need extensive media coverage, yet audiences are still flocking to listen to his music.
The song "If We Were No Longer Together " and other tracks in the album created a sensation thanks to the natural response from the audience. Three songs from the HVL album are currently in the top 3 trending. And with the current momentum, it's highly likely that over 20 of MCK's songs from the new album will be in the top 30 trending, or even more.
Following the hype surrounding Son Tung's "Come My Way," Vietnamese music continues to heat up as new stars release new products one after another. "Music overload" is the feeling of many Vpop fans right now.
