This morning, November 16th, in Aró village (Lăng commune, Tây Giang district), hundreds of locals and tourists witnessed the "buffalo feast" ritual to celebrate the new communal house of the local Cơ Tu people.
The program, organized by the Department of Culture and Information of Tay Giang District, aims to develop the ritual of celebrating the new gươl festival into a tourism product under Project 6 of the National Target Program for socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas, giai đoạn 2021 - 2030.

According to Mr. Alang Men, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang commune, celebrating the new communal house is one of the important festivals of the Co Tu people, reflecting the spirit of solidarity of the village community in restoring and preserving traditional communal house architecture.
"The festival aims to express gratitude, encouragement, and motivation to the villagers who have made significant contributions to the restoration of the gươl (traditional communal house) and the preservation of the beautiful cultural identity of the Cơ Tu community."
"This is also an opportunity to strengthen the solidarity of the village community, share experiences in labor, production, economic development, preserve the beautiful traditional cultural identity, and help each other progress and develop sustainably," Mr. Alang Men shared.
