Sharing with the media, the girl born in 1993 said she will officially retire immediately after this tournament, ending 15 years of top professional competition. Nguyen Thi Huyen is the first female athlete to achieve the achievement of winning 13 track and field gold medals in SEA Games history. In addition, she also won 10 National Championship gold medals and 3 Asian Championship gold medals.
