A shining example of effective mass mobilization.
In Thai Chan Son village (Dai Hung commune), in recent times, following the socio -economic development orientation of the commune and the efforts of the government and organizations, the people of Thai Chan Son have renovated their mixed orchards to plant fruit trees on an area of 17 hectares.
Mr. Pham Duc Thinh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dai Hung commune, shared that, recognizing the suitable soil for growing citrus trees, the local authorities launched a movement to renovate neglected orchards, attracting 17 households to participate. Seeing the value of pomelo and orange trees, in 2019, the local authorities continued to encourage people to expand the planted area.
Following Resolution 35 of the Provincial People's Council on the mechanism for supporting the development of garden and farm economies in the period 2021-2025, the government and associations in Dai Hung continued to mobilize the people to improve their gardens and form a specialized fruit-growing area of 17 hectares with 72 participating households.
"The local authorities continue to encourage people to expand the area of fruit trees, creating conditions for the development of eco -tourism destinations, combined with attracting investment in Thai Son hot springs, connecting with the Dong Giang Heaven's Gate tourist area," Mr. Thinh said.
The movement of people in Nghia My area (Ai Nghia town) donating land to build roads is also a highlight in the work of mass mobilization. When encouraged, many households in Nghia My voluntarily dismantled fences, cleared trees, and donated land to build roads.
Mr. Nguyen Tam (Group 1, Nghia My area) said: “Many roads in the town's residential area are still narrow and prone to waterlogging. When we were encouraged to do so, my family and neighbors hired people to move fences, cut down trees, and donated nearly 150 square meters of land to widen the roads.”
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van, Secretary of the Nghia My Ward Party Branch, shared that 45 households in Nghia My Ward voluntarily donated land to expand two concrete roads with a total length of over 490 meters.
"The key to the success of the land donation campaign for road construction is that the Ai Nghia town's mass mobilization committee has promoted democracy, fostering consensus and support among the people. All project information is made public and transparent, and meetings are held with the people to listen to their thoughts and aspirations," said Ms. Van.
In Dai Hiep, the model of a "Self-governing, united, prosperous, and happy" residential area and the "Two Haves" solidarity group (my house has a fire extinguisher, and a security camera) in Tich Phu village, initiated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, are also bright spots in mass mobilization work that are being replicated...
Replicating successful models
According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Vu, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Dai Loc District Party Committee, in order for the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement to be widely and effectively implemented, the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department has advised the District Party Committee to issue guiding documents on promoting the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" emulation movement in conjunction with the "All People Join Hands to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas" movement and the implementation of Directive No. 05 of the Politburo on promoting "Learning and Following the Ideology, Morality, and Style of Ho Chi Minh".
Mr. Vu said: "It can be seen that the 'Skilled Mass Mobilization' emulation movement has developed widely in Dai Loc with hundreds of models. From practical experience, it has contributed to improving the material and spiritual lives of the people, making the appearance of the new rural areas more attractive, and promoting the leading role of the people."
Mr. Nguyen Huu Vu stated that, in order to further spread the "Effective Mass Mobilization" movement, it is necessary to strengthen propaganda and dissemination of good experiences and practices, promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals who perform well, and replicate advanced models.
Regularly conduct thorough inspections, supervision, and guidance; strengthen professional training for cadres working in mass mobilization. By 2025, each organization, agency, and unit at the district level, and each commune/township and organization within the political system in the district, will register to implement at least one "Effective Mass Mobilization" model at the district and grassroots levels.
According to the plan, this year, Dai Loc will continue to expand the model of "Mobilizing people to surrender electric fishing gear" of the Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department of Dai Thang commune to the entire district. It will also expand the model of "Linking rice seed and crop production" in Phu Xuan village (Dai Thang commune) to other areas suitable to local conditions.

"With the flourishing of models and movements of 'Effective Mass Mobilization' from the district to the grassroots level, the spirit of solidarity, determination, and the joint efforts and consensus of the entire political system and all strata of the people have 'activated' and mobilized enormous resources and strength," said Mr. Nguyen Huu Vu.
