Many activities to care for children during the summer

(CT) - In response to the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, the Thot Not District Youth Council, in coordination with the District Children's House, recently organized a "Young Pioneers Propaganda Festival" with the theme "Children's Rights and Responsibilities".

The festival attracted 12 teams from primary schools in the district, with many lively activities such as a "paper tearing and collage" competition on themes related to the 2016 Children's Law and activities caring for children, promoting children's participation in issues concerning children, and environmental protection. The children also enjoyed many special cultural and artistic performances. As a result, the Tan Loc 5 Primary School's Youth Union team excellently won first prize at the festival.

During the summer, the Youth Union and Youth Association branches in Can Tho City organized many activities to care for and support children. Highlights included organizing summer camps, creative experiential activities, children's festivals, and launching "Reading, Interactive and Youth Union Activity Spaces." Training courses on drowning prevention and injury prevention will also be organized (with plans for 20 free swimming classes), two "Semester in the Army" programs, and activities to build houses for disadvantaged children.
