At Bao Son Paradise Park, the Cowboy Town Festival 2025 will also officially take place, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere for the holiday.
Ensuring the safety of tourists.
According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, to ensure that tourists can enjoy themselves during the holiday, public areas, gardens, and parks in the city have been renovated, upgraded, and environmental protection efforts have been strengthened to best serve the recreational and relaxation needs of the people.

Specifically, the area around the city's Grand Theatre has just inaugurated a renovation project of the Co Tan flower garden, with the highlight being the artwork "Resurrection". The artwork is inspired by the transformation of the life of a more than 60-year-old mahogany tree that was felled by Typhoon Yagi in 2024. This is expected to become an interesting check-in spot for tourists and Hanoi residents during this year's holiday season.
One of the annual activities and a highlight of the holiday season is the distribution of free drinking water, milk, and bread to the people and tourists visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on April 30th and May 1st. The Hanoi Department of Tourism, in coordination with the Mausoleum Management Board, will continue to provide these services. In addition, Hanoi will also organize fireworks displays as part of the artistic and political program "North-South Promise" and the live televised program "The Triumphal Song Resounds Forever" at the F1 racetrack area (Nam Tu Liem district) and the multi-purpose stage area of Thong Nhat Park (Hai Ba Trung district).
The outskirts of Hanoi also host many attractive activities during this period. Tourists can participate in unique experiential programs such as: the "Vietnamese Spirit" program at Lang Mo Retreat resort; and the unique "Exploring the Identity of Ba Vi" tourism program with activities introducing the culture of the Muong people and therapeutic treatments using medicinal herbs of the Dao people. According to Tran Trung Hieu, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, the outskirts of the city are being promoted with eco-tourism and resort products. Hanoi hopes to build a brand for health and wellness tourism, while focusing on preserving cultural values and promoting community involvement in sustainable tourism development.
Regarding accommodation, during the April 30th and May 1st holidays, hotels in Hanoi launched many promotional programs, discounts, and offered attractive complimentary services to attract guests.
To ensure traffic order and safety, and to better serve the travel needs of residents and tourists during the holiday period, the Hanoi Department of Tourism has requested all units to strictly comply with tourism laws and regulations; proactively inspect and ensure security, safety, rescue, and emergency response; ensure food safety and hygiene, fire prevention and control; publicly display prices and sell at the listed prices. The Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, Dang Huong Giang, affirmed that the Hanoi tourism industry strives to provide attentive service, meeting the maximum needs of residents and tourists for sightseeing, entertainment, and relaxation, contributing to affirming the capital's position as a "Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive" destination.
