(GLO) - Imbued with the ideology of "putting the people first," in recent times, the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings in Chu Prong district (Gia Lai province) has been closely linked with the implementation of political tasks and patriotic emulation movements, creating momentum to promote comprehensive and sustainable development from the grassroots level.

According to Mr. Dinh Van Dung, Secretary of the Chu Prong District Party Committee, the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW in the district has always been linked by Party committees, agencies, and units at all levels with the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (11th and 12th terms), Conclusion 21-KL/TW dated October 25, 2025, of the Central Committee, and patriotic emulation movements and political tasks in the locality.

As a result, many good models and innovative approaches have been widely implemented, creating a strong ripple effect throughout the entire political system. A prime example is the model of "weekly flag-raising combined with thematic discussion" on the first Monday of each month, which has become a beautiful aspect of political activities in agencies and units.

Further elaborating on this model, Ms. Hoang Thi Dinh, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Chu Prong District Party Committee, said: The model of "weekly flag-raising ceremony combined with thematic activities" has been implemented since 2017. On the first Monday morning of each month, agencies and units under the District Party Committee, the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front, and mass organizations of the district, along with communes and towns in the area, simultaneously organize flag-raising ceremonies combined with thematic activities on studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh .

The Propaganda Department of the District Party Committee is responsible for compiling the content of the thematic topics and sending them to subordinate Party organizations for implementation. Organizing and maintaining this model not only creates a solemn atmosphere but also becomes a vibrant and effective propaganda channel, contributing to raising the awareness and responsibility of cadres, Party members, and the general public in studying and following the example of President Ho Chi Minh. At the same time, it is also an opportunity to educate and remind each person to enhance their sense of responsibility in carrying out their assigned political and professional tasks.

In particular, the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings have been concretized through many creative, practical models closely related to people's lives. In Ia Drang commune, the Party Committee has directed the replication of many good models and effective methods linked to the implementation of the local political tasks, such as: building a street lighting system on the main roads in villages; joining hands to build new rural areas; "security cameras"; "planting fruit trees"; farmers' associations raising breeding cows, etc., creating a transformation and spreading the meaning and beautiful values ​​of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings, creating unity and cohesion within the Party, and consensus in society.

In addition, the Party Committee directed the government, the Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, and 16 subordinate Party branches to instruct cadres, Party members, civil servants, and public employees to write personal plans and register the content of studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings with specific and practical actions linked to their assigned responsibilities and duties.

According to Pham Van Xung, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, the exemplary conduct of cadres, Party members, civil servants, public employees, union members, and association members in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style has been promoted. Annually, no cadres or Party members have been disciplined for violations; 100% of leading and managerial cadres are rated as having completed their tasks well or better (with 20% achieving excellent performance); and 98% of Party members have completed their tasks well (with 20% achieving excellent performance). The political system has been comprehensively strengthened, operating in an orderly and effective manner.

Meanwhile, in Ia Ve commune, the Farmers' Association has also concretized the learning and following of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings through many practical models close to the lives of its members. In particular, the movement "Farmers competing in excellent production and business, uniting to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty" has attracted more than 2,800 registered members and yielded clear economic benefits. Besides developing production, cadres and members also actively participate in humanitarian and charitable activities.

Specifically in the movement to build new rural areas, farmer association members have voluntarily donated 1,250 m² of land, contributed 1.2 billion VND, renovated and repaired 3.5 km of rural roads, and provided over 48 million VND to eliminate temporary housing for disadvantaged households. “Learning and following Uncle Ho's teachings has become a regular task, creating positive changes in socio-economic development, national defense, security, and building a strong Farmers' Association. Every year, over 95% of the branches are rated as completing their tasks well or excellently, with no weak branches,” said Mr. Dinh Quang Tuyen, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of the commune.

Through specific and practical models, the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style in the district have brought about positive changes in all areas of social life. District Party Secretary Dinh Van Dung shared: To date, the entire district has 8 communes and 13 villages recognized as achieving new rural standards; the average poverty reduction rate is 3% per year, and in ethnic minority areas, the poverty reduction rate is 5% per year. Party building work continues to be strengthened: 100% of villages have Party branches, of which 97% have Party committees; 75% of Party branch secretaries also serve as village heads. Party member development averages 4% per year, and the quality of grassroots Party organizations is increasingly improved, meeting the requirements of the new situation.
