At 12 noon today (July 7), the organizer of the Blackpink concert (taking place on July 29 and 30) officially opened ticket sales. As expected, the tickets were sold out immediately after going on sale. Many people said that some personal accounts that received deposits to hunt for tickets were locked and could not be contacted.
According to the reporter's records, just 1 minute after opening online ticket sales, the Ticketbox website crashed due to the overload of visitors.
About 15 minutes later, the audience was able to access the ticket booking section again and receive a waiting number to buy tickets. While the stadium's capacity is expected to be only about 50,000 spectators, there were people receiving waiting numbers in order of over 100,000.
As of 1 p.m., the seats priced at VND1.2 million, VND1.8 million, and VND3.8 million were listed as "sold out."
The remaining seats include Cat 2 (5.8 million VND), Cat 1 (6.8 million VND), Platinum (7.8 million VND) and VIP (9.8 million VND). Thus, after about 45 minutes of opening for sale, the cheap seats quickly fell into a state of "sold out".

After the tickets were sold out, some fans were "shocked" because they could not contact the people who received the deposit to hunt for tickets.
As one of the victims of the scam, due to being gullible, D.A (HCMC) was scammed out of 20 million VND on the day the tickets were sold.
“I trusted my acquaintance in Hanoi so I asked them to buy the tickets without any doubt. They said they would send me the ticket information after the ticket sales ended.
But after the tickets were sold out, no one sent any information. I was so impatient that I contacted the person who bought the tickets again, but the other end of the line was unavailable." - shared D.A.
It is known that previously, these subjects committed fraud by receiving deposits to hunt for concert tickets.
Many people even claimed to be "acquaintances" of the organizing committee, had relationships with sponsors, ticket sales units for the Blackpink concert, and were in possession of a "huge" number of tickets that they wanted to resell to fans. From these strong assertions, many people did not hesitate to "put down" a deposit and ask for tickets.
Sharing with the media, the Blackpink concert ticket issuer in Vietnam - Ticketbox and the Organizing Committee have affirmed that they only issue tickets online and do not issue physical tickets. Thus, posting physical tickets for sale on social networking sites or the "black market" is fake and shows signs of fraud.

In Vietnam, the sale of "illegal tickets" is taking place openly and widely on social networking sites, "black markets" and even many e-commerce platforms.

This raises concerns about fraud and profiteering from the audience's need to enjoy music . In fact, many audiences have been deceived or bought tickets at many times the price because they believed in the invitation to buy tickets with many incentives.

Also a victim of the scam of selling tickets at sky-high prices that are rampant on the "black market", NTT (Hanoi) transacted with a person who claimed to have a close relationship with the Organizing Committee to order tickets.
“This person said that they had a huge amount of tickets in hand, and that they had all the tickets they needed. At first, I was hesitant, but in the end, I decided to make a transaction for 5 million VND. They said that 1 hour later they would print the ticket, send a notification email, and ship the tickets to my house. However, after waiting for many days without seeing the tickets arrive, I realized that I had fallen into the scammer's trap,” T recounted.

Regarding cases of being "trapped" by scammers, lawyer Diep Nang Binh - Head of Tinh Thong Luat Law Office - said that to avoid unfortunate incidents, people need to be extremely vigilant.
“According to Article 144 of the 2015 Criminal Procedure Code, when discovering that they have been scammed, the first thing the victim needs to do is collect information such as text messages, bank account numbers, phone numbers and all related information to use as evidence to report to the authorities.
After that, the victim needs to submit a petition to the police. The documents to be prepared include: a report, a criminal complaint, a copy of the citizen identification card, evidence proving the money transfer and establishing the relationship between the deposit and ticket purchase," said lawyer Diep Nang Binh.
On the morning of July 4, the organizer of Born Pink World Tour in Hanoi officially announced ticket prices for the BlackPink show. Accordingly, ticket prices range from 1,200,000 VND to 9,800,000 VND, divided into 7 seat classes.
