Many famous Vietnamese pho brands will appear in South Korea

On the afternoon of July 29, a press conference announced Vietnam Pho Festival 7 - a special culinary cultural event organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper and Saigon Tourism Corporation (Saigontourist Group).

Vietnam Pho Festival 2024 is expected to take place on October 2 and 5, 6 in Seoul, South Korea. The festival includes a series of events expected to give South Korean people, Vietnamese people living in South Korea and international tourists the opportunity to explore the value, history, and culinary culture of Vietnam through " Pho Ambassador".

Mr. Pham Huy Binh, Chairman of the Board of Members, Saigontourist Group, co-head of the festival Steering Committee, informed that South Korea is currently Vietnam's leading international tourist market, as well as is a country where a large number of Vietnamese expatriates live and work.

“Saigontourist Group continues to accompany Tuoi Tre newspaper to bring pho and delicious Vietnamese dishes to serve the overseas community and foreigners in South Korea, contributing to promoting the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine to the world. Thereby, it is intended to create a highlight to attract more South Korean tourists to Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam," Mr. Huy Binh said.

During the days of the event, Vietnam Pho Festival 2024 will have many famous pho brands from Vietnam, along with some famous pho brands in Seoul for South Korean diners to enjoy. Thereby helping them better understand the Vietnamese spirit in famous Vietnamese dishes. It is expected that there will be about 80 pho stalls and other dishes at this festival.

The festival also has exhibition spaces, cultural experiences, Travel, economics... helps attendees have a close-up and multi-dimensional view of Vietnam. During the two days, the program also includes performances, art exchanges, culinary arts exchanges, and folk games on stage and in the festival area.
