Accordingly, in 2026, TVU will enroll students in 49 majors in fields such as: agriculture and fisheries; engineering and technology; health sciences; economics, law, logistics and management; pedagogy; applied chemistry; foreign languages, tourism, restaurant and hotel services; biotechnology, environment; Khmer language, culture and arts of Southern Vietnam; sports management, political theory… Notably, two new majors will be added: Psychology and Agricultural Technology.

While the school offered a 100% tuition waiver for the first year in 11 majors during the 2025-2026 academic year, the scope of this incentive will be further expanded in the 2026 admissions season. A scholarship covering 100% of the first year's tuition will be directly applied to 13 majors that are at the forefront of labor market trends.

Specifically, cutting-edge fields leading the technology wave (such as Artificial Intelligence, Mechatronics, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Technology), healthcare and social welfare sectors (Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Public Health, Psychology, Social Work), and agriculture, biology, and construction sectors (Plant Protection, Chemical Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, Political Science) are all included in this list of those receiving special privileges.

To contribute to the preservation of traditional cultural and artistic values, new students in the Traditional Musical Instrument Performance major are exempt from 100% of tuition fees for the entire course and receive an additional living allowance of 450,000 VND/month. Students in the Cultural Studies, Musicology, and Khmer Language majors also receive scholarships covering 30% of tuition fees throughout their entire course of study.

To reduce financial barriers, the university has decided to immediately reduce tuition fees by 0.5 times for all students participating in the EIP from the beginning of the course, bringing the actual tuition fee to the same level as the regular program (approximately VND 1,090,000-1,190,000/credit).

The "Entrepreneurship and Business Management" major offers the opportunity to become a CEO while still a student, with a focus on experiential learning. Students develop entrepreneurial thinking, encounter challenges in resource management, fundraising, and market adaptation while still in school. Especially for students who have won awards in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions at various levels, TVU has prepared a prestigious scholarship fund based on competition achievements, with a maximum amount of up to 50 million VND applicable to all members of the winning team, along with a 100% tuition fee waiver for the first year.

For majors in International Trade Economics and Tourism Economics, the English proficiency requirement is equivalent to a scholarship covering 50% of the first-year tuition fee. Accordingly, candidates with a foreign language proficiency certificate according to the 6-level framework for foreign languages ​​used in Vietnam (VSTEP) at level 3 (B1) or higher, or equivalent internationally recognized English certificates, will be eligible for scholarship consideration as per the university's regulations.
