Mistakes that cannot be corrected.

Arriving late, bringing a mobile phone into the exam venue.

Students are not allowed to arrive at the 10th grade exam room more than 15 minutes late after the start time has been announced. This rule is considered "unbreakable," and although unlikely to happen, it has occurred in previous exams. The reason is that students wake up too late, many oversleep, are not woken up, or are careless and set their alarm clocks to be... muted! The exam center regulations stipulate that students must be present at 6:45 AM for the morning session and 12:45 PM for the afternoon session.

Bringing a phone into the exam venue is the second most serious mistake. In previous years, there have been several cases of candidates being penalized for bringing prohibited devices into the exam room. Some candidates are still careless, thinking they've turned off their phones but inadvertently leaving the alarm on. It's best for students not to bring any devices (phones, documents, smartwatches, etc.) into the exam venue.

At some examination centers, there are designated rooms or areas with a safe distance of 25 meters for candidates to store their belongings. Students should leave all personal items in this area.

The third mistake that no one can "save" candidates from is failing to copy all the answers from the scratch paper onto the answer sheet when the time is up. This is very common in literature exams and even in long math problems. According to regulations, invigilators only collect the answer sheets, not the scratch paper. Therefore, candidates must constantly monitor the time to regulate their work progress.

Candidates arrive at an examination site in Ho Chi Minh City to familiarize themselves with the examination regulations and verify their personal information.

Teachers who make mistakes during exams will have their supplemental income affected.

For the invigilators, the biggest difference between this year's exam and previous years is that the supervisory staff (corridor supervisors) closely monitor the entire examination process, from maintaining order for candidates entering and leaving the examination hall to supervising the examination situation, overseeing the collection of exam papers, and requiring candidates to sign their names on the exam paper bags.

Exam supervisors explain the regulations for the 10th grade exam in the examination room in Ho Chi Minh City.

This year, the 10th grade entrance exam took place under normal conditions, so there were no mandatory regulations regarding COVID-19 prevention. However, the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training still had "strict" regulations regarding exam supervision. If there were any errors on the part of the invigilators, the Department of Education and Training would send a document to the school to evaluate and classify the teachers for additional income purposes (according to Resolution 3).

Although the exam was conducted rigorously and in a very tense atmosphere, the general spirit of the examination centers was to create the most favorable conditions for candidates to take the exam, ensuring fairness for all. Therefore, candidates should not be overly confused or worried.

Teachers also advised students not to be too "shocked," which could lead to rash reactions and serious consequences if they don't perform as well as they hoped on the 10th grade exam. After all, this is just a turning point in their lives, and there are countless other promising paths ahead for them to choose from.
