- Over the years, the team of village and neighborhood Party branch secretaries in the province has effectively played the role of a "bridge" between the Party committee, the government, and the people, while also serving as a pioneering and exemplary "nucleus" in all grassroots movements.

The Party Secretary and head of Na Pat village, Chien Thang commune, exchanged and shared information for propaganda purposes with the villagers.

Mr. Nong Van Lanh, Party Branch Secretary and head of Na Pat village, is the only village Party branch secretary in Chien Thang commune appointed to the Commune Party Committee. He shared: After the new commune organizational structure came into operation, the workload of the Party branch secretaries increased. The specialized departments and the Party building advisory committees of the commune have all established working groups to exchange information with village Party branch secretaries to implement tasks. As leaders in the villages, Party branch secretaries must proactively arrange their work to avoid delays and ensure no assigned tasks are overlooked. The implementation of tasks in each village is also carried out flexibly and in accordance with the local reality.

For example, in the work of preventing and mitigating the consequences of recent storms, the Na Pat village Party branch assigned 14 Party members to monitor and support groups of families, ready to help families move their belongings and ensure safety. Similarly, in the task of mobilizing and persuading people to agree to the construction of roads and a village cultural center at a new location, Party members and association members took the lead in donating land and contributing. As a result, over the past three years, the village has mobilized contributions of more than 200 million VND to build a cultural center and pave rural roads with concrete.

In Cao Loc border commune, Vi Van Thao, the Party Secretary and village head, not only exemplifies the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws but also serves as a crucial bridge, helping people understand, trust, and work together to implement them. Through perseverance and a sense of responsibility, he skillfully propagated and mobilized villagers to donate land and contribute labor to expand and pave the village's internal roads. From narrow, muddy roads of the past, the village's transportation system is now smooth and convenient, facilitating travel and trade.

Not only is Mr. Thao dedicated to village development, but he also regularly cooperates with border guards in patrolling and protecting the border and boundary markers. He actively encourages people to raise their awareness of complying with border laws, refraining from encroachment and illegal settlement; and promptly reports any signs of violations, contributing to maintaining security in the border area.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Trinh, Commander of Thanh Loa Border Guard Station, Cao Loc commune, Comrade Thao is one of the Party branch secretaries who has made many contributions in coordinating with border guard forces to manage and protect the border as well as maintain security and order in the area. His responsibility and prestige have created consensus within the community, contributing to building a close relationship between the border guard forces and the people.

Along with the aforementioned individuals, the province currently has 1,646 village and neighborhood Party branch secretaries. Not only are they pioneers and role models in all activities, but they also remain close to the people, understanding their thoughts and aspirations, and promptly reporting them to Party committees and authorities at all levels. They also mobilize the people to work together and contribute to the implementation of political tasks and economic development. As a result, tasks related to building the grassroots political system, economic development, and national security and defense are carried out effectively, and the appearance of rural areas in many places is increasingly improving.

From 2022 to the present, the team of Party branch secretaries, together with Party committees, government agencies, the Fatherland Front at all levels, and political and social organizations, have propagated and mobilized people to effectively implement various campaigns and emulation movements… Notably, they have mobilized people to donate over 1 million square meters of land and contribute over 1 million man-days of labor to build public works.

According to assessments, 100% of village and neighborhood Party branch secretaries annually perform their duties well, receiving a rating of "good performance" or higher. Mr. Nguyen Van Hai, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, commented: "The team of Party branch secretaries in villages and neighborhoods are highly respected by the people, possessing competence and good moral character, meeting the requirements of their duties. They are not only the core force at the grassroots level but also an important bridge between the Party committee and the people. Thanks to them, many local political tasks are implemented promptly, synchronously, and effectively, contributing to the successful completion of emulation movements and promoting socio-economic development."

It is evident that the outstanding achievements in the province over the past years have all been significantly contributed to by the team of village and neighborhood Party branch secretaries. With their sense of responsibility, dedication, and prestige in the community, they are the foundation and driving force for grassroots movements to continue to develop strongly, contributing to building a more prosperous homeland and steadily advancing on the path of innovation and integration.
