At dawn, Long Coc Tea Hill resembles a watercolor painting, with the scenery changing with the rhythm of time.
Long Coc Tea Hill, or Long Coc Tea Oasis, is a tourist destination located in Long Coc commune, Tan Son district, Phu Tho province. About 125 km from Hanoi, Long Coc is a collection of hundreds of rolling hills stretching one after another.
From the Happy Vietnam – Happy Vietnam 2023 contest, first launched and organized by the Department of External Information, Ministry of Information and Communications , author Nguyen Duy Khanh has captured every moment of the tea hills changing minute by minute.
According to photographer Nguyen Duy Khanh, if you want to take beautiful photos, visitors should come here early in the morning, ideally at the beginning of summer. At that time, the entire area will be shrouded in a hazy mist, with a few rays of gentle sunlight filtering through. In that atmosphere, everything around suddenly becomes strangely beautiful and peaceful.
To successfully capture the morning mist and admire the most beautiful tea hills in Long Coc, visitors should come in late autumn or early winter to get the best photos. On sunny days, the temperature difference between day and night should be around 10 degrees Celsius.
Gazing at the tea hills under the morning sun, visitors will witness a scene with "surreal moments." Sunlight filters through the ethereal mist, enveloping the entire rolling tea hills, and suddenly, Long Coc is illuminated by the dawn light. The scene at that moment is as beautiful as a traditional ink painting.
Dubbed a "paradise on the midland," Long Coc tea hills cover an area of approximately 600 hectares, surrounded by endless rolling mountains. Visiting in October during autumn, tourists can admire the lush green tea hills stretching endlessly, appearing and disappearing in the morning mist or under the beautiful sunset.
At just after 5 a.m., mist began to pour out from every nook and cranny of the tea hills. Each tea hill here is about 1 hectare in size, densely packed like inverted bowls, stretching endlessly to the horizon. From the highest peak, one can see a sea of white clouds, dotted with dark green tea plantations.
When the sun rises, the light diffuses through the air, creating a shimmering, magical scene that inspires photographers' creativity. Therefore, each visit is a unique experience for visitors, with no two trips being alike.
