The Lao Chai village community cultural house, Muong Khuong commune has just been completed and put into use. With a total investment of more than 1 billion VND from the National Target Program for Socio -Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas, this is not only a meeting place, but also a space to preserve and pass on the cultural values of the Bo Y ethnic community, Lao Chai village.

With the attention of the Party and the State, the people are very happy. With a cultural house, we try to teach our children and grandchildren folk songs and play traditional musical instruments so that the national identity will not be lost."
Also from the capital of the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas, many musical instruments, costumes and folk songs of the Bo Y people have been purchased and restored, helping the young generation have the opportunity to preserve their ethnic culture.

Ms. Lo Din Vien, also from Lao Chai village, excitedly said: "Now, I have learned the folk songs and dances of my people. Whenever there are events in the commune or village, we participate in performances."

Not only cultural institutions, but also the rural traffic infrastructure has been gradually improved. The wide concrete roads are a testament to the consensus between “Party’s will and people’s heart”, opening up economic development opportunities for the people, including the construction of a commercial tangerine growing area associated with experiential tourism .
"With the Party and State's attention in opening inter-village roads, creating favorable conditions for people to travel and trade, everyone is very excited."

The lives of more than 60 Bo Y households in Lao Chai village now have a new look with many positive changes. They not only preserve traditional culture but also proactively and actively develop their household economy. By the end of 2024, the whole village will have only 4 poor households.
This is proof of the effectiveness of policies for ethnic minority areas, contributing to creating motivation for each community to rise strongly in the new period.
