According to VGC , the recent CES 2025 event in Las Vegas (USA) became the focus of attention for the gaming community when a series of leaks about the Nintendo Switch 2 unexpectedly emerged.

Much speculation about the Switch 2 emerged at CES 2025.

The culprit is accessory manufacturer Genki, as the company not only displayed what it claimed was a replica of the Switch 2 but also claimed to possess the real device and even revealed the release date.

Amidst rapidly spreading rumors, Nintendo has officially responded. A company representative confirmed to Japan's Sankei newspaper that the leaked images and videos "are not official."

Although Nintendo is known for being secretive, the scale of these leaks has forced them to respond. Previously, images allegedly showing the Switch 2 Joy-Con controllers with a larger design and magnetic connection had already surfaced online. Even a reputable tech leaker released a detailed 360-degree render, confidently claiming it was "the most accurate look at the Switch 2 yet."
