The scale of products and stalls has increased.
With the theme "Intellectual Property and Digital Technology - The Foundation for Innovative Startups," the 5th Quang Nam Province Innovation Startup Week - TechFest Quang Nam 2024 has completed half of its journey with a series of forums and workshops held from May 15-17.
Continuing the series of activities, from June 5-9, the TechFest Quang Nam 2024 trade networking and investment promotion program will take place at 24/3 Square. This is a highly anticipated event in every TechFest organized by the province.
Mr. Pham Ngoc Sinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, Head of the Provincial Innovation Support Steering Committee, and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the TechFest Quang Nam Organizing Committee - informed that, based on the registration list submitted to the organizing committee, the number of exhibition booths at TechFest Quang Nam 2024 is expected to increase by approximately 100 booths compared to 2023.
According to the plan, there were supposed to be about 330 exhibition booths, but so far, provinces, cities, 18 districts, towns, and cities, along with units within the province, have registered for 430 exhibition booths.
In 2023, TechFest Quang Nam attracted approximately 300 exhibition booths, showcasing nearly 1,000 innovative ideas and products, OCOP products, and typical rural industrial products from both within and outside the province.
With an increase of approximately 100 booths, TechFest Quang Nam 2024 is expected to showcase a large number of products… The exhibited products will ensure compliance with regulations regarding brand, standards, measurements, and quality.
According to Mr. Sinh, most provinces and localities within the province registered for more booths than the number set by the organizers. However, the TechFest Quang Nam 2024 organizing committee has made efforts to create favorable conditions to support these entities.
“Over the years, TechFest Quang Nam has had a strong impact. This year, in addition to units and localities within the province, the event will bring together booths and products from 16 provinces and cities across all three regions of North, Central, and South Vietnam to participate in exhibitions and trade connections,” Mr. Sinh shared.
According to the registration list, this year, in addition to OCOP products, startup products, and typical rural industrial products, TechFest Quang Nam 2024 will feature more booths showcasing products in the fields of mechanics, technology, and innovative scientific and technical solutions from centers, colleges, and universities.
The Organizing Committee of TechFest Quang Nam 2024 announced that, unlike previous years, this year TechFest will be organized into two groups at different times: one group of events including forums and workshops, and the other group focusing on networking, trade promotion, and honoring startup projects.
This solves the problem of time pressure; it allows participants to focus on connecting and promoting their products and projects at the booth, while also dedicating more time to commercialization.

At 24/3 Square, preparations for the exhibition and product networking activities have been carried out urgently. The organizing committee has also carefully planned and arranged the booths, exhibition areas, stage, etc., in a harmonious and appropriate manner.
A large space in front of the 24/3 Square is dedicated to products from provinces and cities across the country. Many distant localities such as Can Tho , Dong Thap, and Kien Giang have also registered to showcase their products at TechFest Quang Nam 2024.
Ms. Hoang Thi Cam Nhung, Director of Moc An Green Development Co., Ltd. (Phong Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province), said that they have fully prepared their products to be ready for display and introduction at TechFest Quang Nam 2024.
The company's standout products are its lines of cereal powders, nutritional biscuits, and herbal teas under the Mộc An brand. Among these, the Mộc An Cereal Powder product proudly won the Encouragement Award for Women Entrepreneurs at the regional level and the First Prize in the Thừa Thiên Huế Province Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in 2023.
Ms. Nhung shared: “By participating in TechFest Quang Nam this time, I hope to connect businesses in Quang Nam to become partners in supplying raw materials, and at the same time find more agents and distributors here.”
Furthermore, we also hope that more customers in Quang Nam and neighboring provinces will have access to Moc An products, contributing to market expansion in the future.”
Currently, localities within the province are also preparing to bring their products to Tam Ky City for display and promotion. According to the Economic and Infrastructure Department of Hiep Duc district, the district will display 12 booths from 12 cooperatives, establishments, and business households. The district will provide financial support to these entities for transportation, food, accommodation, and promotional banners.
The organizers of TechFest Quang Nam 2023 announce that product trade connections will begin at 4 PM on June 5th. This event will also include technology supply and demand connections between Quang Nam province and Da Nang city. This year's program honoring innovative projects will also be updated to facilitate project connections and reach out to students.
