Representatives from the "Helping Hands" column of Ninh Binh Newspaper and Radio and Television Station presented gifts to families in difficult circumstances in Tien Thang commune (Gia Vien district).

For over a decade, the "Circle of Compassion" segment on Ninh Binh Radio and Television (now Ninh Binh Newspaper and Radio and Television) has become a trusted source of support, a spiritual anchor, and a beacon of hope for countless unfortunate lives in the province.

Behind the success and widespread impact of that column lies the unwavering dedication and enthusiasm of the team of journalists who have devoted much love and passion to building the meaningful "Circle of Compassion."

One of the prominent figures closely associated with this column is journalist Thanh Huyền from the Arts and Culture Department of Ninh Binh Newspaper and Radio-Television Station. Thanh Huyền not only directly develops the content but also delves into each story and life to understand and convey them in the most authentic way. “Over 10 years of dedication to the ‘Circle of Compassion’ column has been a meaningful and emotional journey for me.”

I've had the opportunity to accompany, listen to, and share with many people facing difficult circumstances. Each story is a profound lesson about resilience, about warm human kindness, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be a bridge between compassionate hearts and those less fortunate.

"What makes me happiest, and the greatest motivation for me to continue this work, is seeing the positive changes and radiant smiles return to the lives of families after receiving help from the community. That is the motivation for me to continue accompanying the program, spreading love and faith in society, because I believe that even small acts of help can create miracles," journalist Thanh Huyen shared.

Thanh Huyen also emphasized the team's serious and responsible work ethic, which has contributed to the effectiveness and credibility of the segment: "From the very beginning of each broadcast, the 'Circle of Compassion' team has always set a clear goal: to be a bridge between those in difficult circumstances and the community. We have proactively and actively sought out and connected with philanthropists, businesses, and charitable organizations... calling for support and collaboration in the most timely and effective way."

Beyond simply reflecting touching stories on television, the team strives to persuade with sincerity from the heart, with clear, transparent, and continuously updated information to build trust and strongly awaken the profound compassion within the community. As a result, many people in difficult circumstances have received timely assistance, even kindling hope for a better future.”

Journalist Vu Minh, Head of the Arts and Culture Department, said: "Over more than 10 years of broadcasting the 'Circle of Compassion' segment, thanks to the enthusiastic support of philanthropists and the community, many poor, lonely, and unfortunate individuals have had valuable opportunities to rise out of poverty, overcome serious illnesses, and reintegrate into society."

Nearly 400 stories and situations have been covered in this column, including hundreds of impoverished individuals receiving new or renovated homes; many children with congenital heart disease receiving timely financial support for surgery to regain their lives and innocent smiles; many children continuing their education and pursuing their dreams; and many people suffering from serious illnesses receiving the necessary financial support for treatment, regaining happiness and faith in life.

This is not only the noble purpose of the program, but also the dedication and heart of the team of editors, reporters, and cameramen—those who have been building and implementing this meaningful humanitarian segment. With continuous innovation in content and quality, along with creative ideas, the program has attracted more and more agencies, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists to join hands in supporting it.
