For example, my family specializes in growing chrysanthemums and gerberas, the greenhouse area is completely automated", Mr. Ho Dai Duong shared.

Mr. Duong said that the garden was built according to standards, with a smart irrigation system, an automatic fertilization system, an automatic on-off lighting system... All production management systems are installed automatically, programmed on the app and monitored in real time. Adjusting water, fertilizer and nutrients via mobile phone, reducing labor costs as well as saving water and agricultural materials.

Not only growing flowers in greenhouses, Mr. Ho Dai Duong is also a partner of Pepsi Co, specializing in growing pink potatoes to supply snack processing enterprises. Working with enterprises under contract, Mr. Duong has to standardize production and record electronic diaries for enterprises to participate in monitoring. With 10 hectares of agricultural land, he has formed a multi-cropping farm model. Therefore, he understands the importance of digitalization in large-scale agricultural production. "Without digitalization, production management will be very difficult and slow, prone to errors. Even in labor management, I have applied an automatic management mode, ensuring reasonableness and minimizing errors," Mr. Duong shared.

In 2024-2025, Mr. Duong received support from the Lam Dong Provincial Agricultural Extension Center to develop a digitalized production process using FaceFarm software on his farm. With FaceFarm, farmers can upload production logs to the internet, thereby completely managing the farming process, from land preparation, planting, fertilizing, and harvesting, monitoring the process, and supervising each worker. Applying FaceFarm helps optimize costs and labor... More importantly, the software also closely connects consumers - customers - with the farm. Customers can access and trace the origin of products, monitor the farm's production process, and understand the specific quality and origin of the products. Consumers can also provide feedback and make requests to the farm quickly and specifically. After more than a year of application, Mr. Ho Dai Duong highly appreciates FaceFarm in internal management as well as online sales.

Ms. Ngo Hoai Nam - technical officer of Lam Dong Provincial Agricultural Extension Center said that supporting the digitalization of agricultural production is a priority of the province's agricultural sector.
