On July 7th, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee announced that it had assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to take the lead in coordinating with relevant departments and agencies, as well as the People's Committees of Duc Trong and Di Linh districts, to study the proposal from Novaland Investment Group Joint Stock Company (Novaland) to invest in a multi-functional international resort and golf course project in the locality, and to submit a report to the province before July 30th.
The area where Novaland proposes to research, survey, plan, and invest in this project is located near Dai Ninh Lake.
Previously, Novaland had sent a document to the Standing Committee of the People's Committee and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province proposing permission to research, survey, prepare a detailed plan, and invest in the construction of the aforementioned project on a land area of approximately 396 hectares located in Duc Trong and Di Linh districts.
This land plot is bordered to the north and east by Ninh Gia commune (Duc Trong district), to the south by National Highway 20, and to the west by Tam Bo commune (Di Linh district).
Novaland proposed a research area of approximately 396 hectares.
The proposed project will include a resort villa area, a high-end hotel area, and public facilities (green spaces, water features, technical infrastructure, roads) combined with the investment and construction of commercial and service facilities: golf course, restaurants, check-in points, diverse entertainment and sports activities… serving a wide range of domestic and international customers to develop the socio-economic development of Lam Dong province.
Novaland also committed to completing the project and putting it into operation within two years from the date the company receives the land and meets the conditions for construction.

As Thanh Nien newspaper previously reported, Novaland submitted a proposal to the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requesting approval for the company to conduct surveys, research, and develop an investment project for a complex urban area combining tourism, resort, and entertainment in Bao Lam District and Bao Loc City, with a research scale of approximately over 30,000 hectares (total capital of about 10 billion USD). Lam Dong province assigned the Department of Construction, in coordination with relevant departments, agencies, and localities, to review Novaland's proposal and report to the province before July 22nd.
