NTO - Ninh Thuan Food Festival

On the evening of December 27th, the Provincial People's Committee organized the opening ceremony of the Ninh Thuan Food Festival - Welcoming the New Year 2024. Attending the event were Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; and leaders of various departments and agencies in the province.

The food festival took place from December 26th to 31st, 2023, with the theme "Flavors of Ninh Thuan Cuisine - Welcoming the New Year 2024". Over the six days, the festival featured many attractive and lively activities such as: enjoying cuisine from 80 stalls; a sheep parade; lion and dragon dances, street art; games and culinary activities; a star chef competition showcasing Ninh Thuan lamb and oysters…

In his opening remarks at the festival, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, affirmed: The Ninh Thuan Food Festival - Welcoming the New Year 2024 is an important event aimed at creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for the people and tourists before the New Year.

This will contribute to promoting and introducing the province's distinctive dishes to tourists, enhancing the value chain of agricultural, forestry, and fishery production, creating jobs, increasing income for workers, and building and developing the province's unique culinary brand to attract and meet the culinary needs of tourists in the future.
