After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ninh, originally from Kinh Bac, followed her husband to Gia Vien to start a new life. In 2014, she applied for a job as an IT employee at Sanico Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Gia Van Industrial Cluster), near her home. Sanico Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a 100% South Korean-owned company specializing in the production of electronic components and automotive cameras. In 2015, the company established a Trade Union, and Ms. Ninh was elected as its Chairperson, a position she has held ever since.
Recognizing that representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers is a central task, and understanding the hardships of workers' lives, Ms. Ninh always proactively proposes to the company's leadership to pay attention to the material and spiritual well-being, wages, welfare benefits, working conditions, and environment of union members and workers . Together with the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, she successfully negotiated with the company's Board of Directors to develop a collective labor agreement that is more favorable than the provisions of the law.
Currently, the average salary of employees in the company is 5-6 million VND/month. According to the Collective Labor Agreement, the company supports 100% of tuition fees for employees participating in training courses to support their work; provides early salary increases for high-performing workers; offers a fuel allowance of 300,000 VND/person/month; a diligence allowance of 300,000 VND/person/month; a Lunar New Year bonus equivalent to half a month's basic salary for workers who have worked for 12 months; and bonuses for International Labor Day (May 1st) and National Day (September 2nd) ... This helps employees feel enthusiastic, trust the trade union, and remain committed to building a continuously developing enterprise.
For nearly 10 years as the Chairwoman of the Trade Union at a company with almost 1,000 employees, Ms. Ninh has always encouraged and motivated workers to demonstrate a sense of responsibility and creativity to complete their work with the highest possible results. Many cultural, artistic, and sports activities organized by the Company's Trade Union have attracted a large number of members. The Company's Trade Union serves as a bridge between the enterprise and its employees.
Ms. Ninh regularly shares and understands the thoughts, feelings, and living conditions of union members and workers in the company; she cares for the interests of union members and workers; and she seeks and utilizes all economic resources to support workers in difficult circumstances. In addition, she advises, promotes, and mobilizes company leaders, union members, and workers to actively participate in social and charitable activities. Many union-sponsored homes have been built thanks to the collective contributions, support, and sharing of union members in the company…
Not only is she a shining example of high responsibility, undeterred by difficulties and hardships, always fighting for the collective good and the legitimate rights and interests of union members, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ninh is also an inspiration to union members and workers to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, especially the " Excellent Worker, Creative Worker" movement , promoting initiatives and technical improvements. This initiative was launched by the Trade Union organization. This was shared by Comrade Hoang Thi Lieu, President of the Gia Vien District Labor Union, regarding the role and responsibilities of Ms. Nguyen Thi Ninh.
In 2021, when the whole country was struggling to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, businesses faced many difficulties in production, and the jobs and incomes of workers were affected. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor launched the "75,000 Initiatives Program - Overcoming Difficulties and Developing." The District Labor Union, together with the Company's Trade Union Executive Committee, surveyed the current production conditions and suggested solutions and innovative improvements for workers in each department. Ms. Ninh and the Company's Trade Union Executive Committee were determined and persistent in guiding union members to explore and develop initiatives from practical labor and production.
Catch The initiative started with the "pioneering" idea of union member Bui Dinh Trung, with the solution "Improving testing machines to replace human labor." Through trial and error, learning and gaining experience, this initiative has been successful, generating nearly 1 billion VND in profit for the company annually. It was commended and awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
To expand the movement, Ms. Ninh proposed, and the Company's Board of Directors agreed, to facilitate union member Bui Dinh Trung to directly share his ideas and innovative approaches at each production team. Ms. Ninh and the Trade Union Executive Committee shared how to support Bui Dinh Trung in writing and submitting his innovative ideas to the provincial-level competition.
Since then, the initiative-building movement at Sanico Vietnam Co., Ltd. has continuously expanded, with many practical and valuable improvement solutions applied within the company, resulting in economic benefits totaling tens of billions of VND. Among these, five initiatives won awards at the Ninh Binh Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Competition, and four union members were honored with the Creative Labor Award from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee, including Ms. Nguyen Thi Ninh.
In June 2024, the company had 7 recognized innovation initiatives at the grassroots level with a value of over 700,000,000 VND in benefits. The Gia Vien District Labor Union selected and guided the company in completing the necessary documents to submit to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for consideration for the Creative Labor Award and participation in the Hoa Lu Science and Technology Award 2024.
Besides her role as the union president, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ninh also performs professional duties in charge of information technology, managing the company's network infrastructure, computers, and printers; inspecting and promptly proposing repairs and maintenance to the company for computers, networks, printers, telephones, and cameras serving the company's communication and production needs.
In her professional duties, Ms. Ninh is always dedicated and responsible, utilizing her trained professional skills and abilities to contribute to the company's operations and development, and is consistently highly regarded by the company's leadership.
For her achievements, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ninh has received commendations from various levels of the Trade Union for many consecutive years.
