According to the female MC, while carrying a freshly boiled kettle to the sink to make tea, she unexpectedly slipped, causing the boiling water to spill directly onto her. "My first reaction was heat and pain," she recounted. The hot water splashed onto her stomach and right fingers, causing her to panic because the incident happened so suddenly.

Initially, Wang Yi'an intended to use cold water to soothe the burn, but the weather was too cold to bear for long. She temporarily applied a cold compress with a paper towel, then remembered and applied burn ointment to the wound.

About half an hour later, the pain subsided, but small blisters began to appear on her abdomen. By midnight, the situation worsened as the blisters swelled. Fearing they might rupture and cause infection, she only dared to sleep on her back.

The next morning, the female MC discovered that the skin from her navel down to her lower abdomen was swollen, red, and had blisters extending across her stomach. In addition, her right breast also had red burns and several small blisters, prompting her to go to the hospital for a check-up.

At the hospital, the burn specialist confirmed that she had second-degree burns and needed to have the blisters punctured to drain the tissue fluid. The female MC also reminded everyone not to treat blisters at home as it can easily cause infection and that treatment should be done under sterile conditions.

After having her wound cleaned, disinfected, and bandaged, she now has to change the dressing daily, avoid contact with water, and will have a follow-up appointment next week to monitor her recovery.
