Cao Ba Lanh Mountain has been classified as a provincial-level historical site.

On June 2, 2026, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province issued Decision No. 1909/QD-UBND classifying the Cao Ba Lanh Mountain historical, cultural and scenic site (Hoanh Mo commune) as a provincial-level historical site.

The Cao Ba Lanh mountain in Hoành Mô commune has been ranked as a provincial-level historical site.

According to the decision, the protected area of ​​the relic is determined according to the minutes and map delineating the protected area of ​​the relic approved by the competent authority. The People's Committee of Hoanh Mo commune is responsible for implementing state management of the relic in accordance with the law on cultural heritage; and organizing the placement of boundary markers for the protected area of ​​the relic immediately after the relic is classified.
