According to a report from the People's Committee of Huu Lung district, from June 21st until now, continuous heavy rainfall has caused the water levels of the Trung River, Thuong River, and other streams to rise.

By the morning of June 23rd, the water level of the Trung River reached alarm level III, causing many roads, bridges, and stream crossings to be deeply submerged, cutting off traffic. The entire district had 39 flooded areas, 5 landslide points, and 11 villages with a total of 480 households were isolated.
Authorities have urgently evacuated 41 households from the danger zone. The floods also submerged nearly 350 hectares of rice and other crops, many of which were ready for harvest and are at risk of total loss. More than 25.5 hectares of fruit trees and aquaculture in Nhat Tien commune (Huu Lung district) were affected.

Ms. Duong Thi Hanh, Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Huu Lung District, said that no casualties have been reported so far, but rescue and response efforts are being carried out urgently. The district has placed barriers and warning signs at flooded underpasses, prohibiting vehicles from passing through, and deployed forces to be on duty 24/7 to ensure safety.

At the same time, Bac Son district was also severely affected by heavy rain. According to the District Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue Command, 3 people were injured, 33 houses were damaged by landslides, 134 houses were flooded, and nearly 551 hectares of agricultural land were submerged. Many roads were damaged by landslides, and state and private property suffered serious damage.
Notably, Tien Hau village (Nhat Tien commune) was completely isolated due to flooding. In Noi Hoa village (Bac Quynh commune), a rock mass of approximately 15 cubic meters rolled down from the mountain onto a house, injuring one person and damaging property.

Given the complex situation caused by the ongoing heavy rains and floods, the authorities of Bac Son and Huu Lung districts have mobilized all available local forces to assist residents in evacuation, mitigate the consequences, warn of dangerous areas, and prepare to respond if the situation worsens.
