NVIDIA is making a major breakthrough by developing its own ARM CPU specifically for Windows laptops. The new N1 and N1X chip series will appear in many laptop models, directly challenging Intel and AMD.
Unlike the old model, NVIDIA will use its own custom-designed SoC, integrating both the CPU and GPU into a single platform. Several Lenovo Ideapad, Yoga, and even Legion gaming laptops have surfaced with the N1X designation.
Dell is also reportedly preparing products based on this platform, indicating that NVIDIA is serious about building an ecosystem. Leaks suggest the N1X chip is a high-performance chip aimed at both high-performance laptops and gaming. This move leverages the momentum of Windows on ARM along with NVIDIA's strengths in graphics and system optimization.
If launched as expected, NVIDIA's ARM CPUs could challenge Intel's long-standing dominance in the Windows laptop market. Readers are invited to watch the video : Top 10 'Terrifying' Tech Devices of the Future.
