Reinforce knowledge and boost students' morale before the exam.
At An Lao Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School (An Lao commune, Gia Lai province), the atmosphere of exam preparation is intense. After the school year ended, many teachers continued to offer free review classes to help students consolidate their knowledge and answer any remaining questions before the important exam.
According to Mr. Thai Van Xong, the school principal, this year the school has 144 students participating in the High School Graduation Examination . In addition to organizing review sessions, the school has also proactively prepared all necessary conditions to support the exam.
The exam center located at An Lao Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School had a total of 401 candidates, including 144 students from the school, 244 students from An Lao High School, and 15 trainees from Hoai An Vocational Training and Continuing Education Center (An Lao branch).
Facilities and equipment for the exam have been reviewed and fully supplemented. The school has placed 12 fire extinguishers in key locations, especially in the area where exam papers and answer sheets are stored. A backup generator has also been prepared to ensure a power supply in case of an emergency.
Dinh Thi Bich Van, a Hre ethnic minority student, said that her results in the mock exam were not as good as she had hoped, so she is attending review classes to reinforce her knowledge.
“I registered for Math, Literature, History, and Geography. I plan to apply to the Education major at Quy Nhon University, so I'm trying my best to study well,” Bich Van shared.
In addition to focusing on professional matters, local authorities are also developing plans to support candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Mr. Le Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Lao commune, said that the locality has coordinated with relevant units to review students with special circumstances in order to provide timely support. For orphaned students or those with difficulties in transportation, the locality will arrange support personnel or accommodation near the examination site to ensure that they can participate in the exam conveniently.
At Chu Van An High School for the Gifted (Bong Son Ward), preparations for the exam are also being carried out urgently. The school has directed the Youth Union to organize training for the volunteer team to support students during the exam season, and has also developed a plan to coordinate with the Youth Union of Phan Boi Chau No. 1 High School and the Youth Union of Bong Son Ward to provide timely support to candidates during the exam days.
According to Mr. Tran Huy Binh, the school's Vice Principal, the exam center has 538 candidates, of which 260 are students from Chu Van An Specialized High School. Upon review, 158 students live far from the exam center, so the school is developing a plan to arrange accommodation in the dormitory. The arrangement is carefully planned to ensure a safe distance from the exam area, providing convenience for candidates while also meeting the security and safety requirements of the exam.
For students from other schools taking the exam at this testing location, the school also coordinates with relevant units to develop support plans for transportation and accommodation when needed, helping them to participate in the exam with peace of mind and under the most favorable conditions.
Ensuring safety and creating the best conditions for candidates.

Besides supporting students, ensuring the safety of the exam is also a top priority for local authorities.
In An Lao commune, the authorities will conduct food sampling at several food stalls around the examination site to check their quality. After receiving the test results, the local authorities will announce the establishments that meet the requirements to help parents and students make informed choices.
Meanwhile, in Hoai An commune, disease prevention and control measures were implemented early. The local authorities proactively sprayed mosquito repellent to prevent dengue fever outbreaks, contributing to protecting the health of students before and during the exam period.
According to Mr. Tran Anh Hoang Vu, Vice Chairman of the Hoai An Commune People's Committee, there are 3 examination centers in the commune with a total of 1,085 candidates and 49 examination rooms.
Specifically, Hoai An High School has 474 candidates with 21 examination rooms and 1 waiting room; Vo Giu High School has 245 candidates with 11 examination rooms; and Tran Quang Dieu High School has 366 candidates with 17 examination rooms and 1 waiting room.
During the exam period, local authorities will station medical staff at the examination sites. They will also provide accommodation near the exam sites for nine candidates from the Vocational Training and Continuing Education Center who have transportation difficulties. Youth union members will participate in supporting the exam season, assisting with transportation for late candidates, providing drinking water, pens, and other necessary supplies outside the examination area.
For exam supervisors, local authorities recommend hotels and guesthouses in the area capable of accommodating approximately 200 guests per exam session, and also provide guidance to food establishments on ensuring food safety and hygiene.
In Quy Nhon Bac ward, this year marks the first time Bui Thi Xuan High School has been selected as a testing center for the high school graduation exam. Therefore, the school has meticulously prepared for the exam.
According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Sim, the school principal, the unit has arranged a storage area for candidates' personal belongings at least 25 meters away from the examination rooms. Projectors and information transmission systems have been inspected, sealed, and their power supply disconnected. The camera system in the examination rooms has been covered and disconnected to ensure absolute safety and security throughout the examination process.
With thorough preparation from schools, local authorities, and support forces, examination centers in Gia Lai province are ready for the 2026 High School Graduation Examination; creating the most favorable conditions for candidates to confidently enter this important exam of their student life.
