Having successfully defeated buffalo number 07, owner of buffalo number 04 received the flag and trophy for the first prize buffalo. In addition, owner of buffalo number 04 also received a bonus of 100 million VND from the Organizing Committee.
The Organizing Committee of the Do Son Buffalo Fighting Festival 2024 also awarded 1 second prize (60 million VND) and 2 third prizes (30 million VND each) and 2 secondary prizes. These are the prizes for the best match and the buffalo with the best fighting moves for buffaloes number 13 and 14.

According to the Festival Regulations, the wards whose buffaloes win first, second, or third prizes will have one more buffalo to participate in the festival next year along with two fixed spots.
The 2024 Do Son Buffalo Fighting Festival contained many dramatic and surprising events. In particular, right at the first round, buffalo number 15 of buffalo owner Luu Dinh Nam (whose buffalo won the 2023 buffalo fighting festival) suddenly ran away after only 1 minute of fighting against buffalo number 03 of buffalo owner Luu Dinh Dung.
With 15 fights of 16 buffaloes participating in the festival, the audience was given eye-catching and dramatic fights.
