Fortunately, in the remaining time, Mbappe redeemed himself by scoring the winning goal for Real Madrid from the penalty spot, securing a 2-1 victory in the 10th minute of added time.

Real Madrid hosted Vallecano at home expecting an easy win, but the match didn't go smoothly. Besides Mbappe's missed opportunity, Real also suffered a setback when Jude Bellingham left the field due to injury.
