On March 21, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Learning held a signing ceremony of a coordination program on promoting learning and talent promotion, building a learning society in the period 3- 2024.
Attending were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan, Former Member of the Party Central Committee, Former Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Central President of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Learning; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the National Committee for Vietnamese Youth Bui Quang Huy.
The coordination program aims to strengthen the coordination between the Vietnam Association for Promoting Learning and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in implementing the work of promoting learning and talent, building a learning society, contributing to the completion of targets. in Decision No. 1373/QD-TTg dated July 30, 7 of the Prime Minister approving the Project "Building a learning society for the period 2021 - 2021" and responding to the movement "The whole country emulates building a learning society for Learning Association, promoting lifelong learning in the period 2030 - 2023" launched by the Prime Minister.
According to the signed program, in the period 2024 - 2030, the two units will strengthen coordination to implement 6 key contents. Specifically: strengthening information and propaganda work on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on study and talent promotion, building a learning society, lifelong learning for union members and young people on the digital platforms of the Vietnam Youth Union and the Vietnam Association for Promoting Learning; Promote the implementation of learning models in agencies and units; Consolidate and promote the activities of the Study Promotion Board at all levels and mobilize to build the Study and Talent Promotion Fund; discover, praise, reward and coordinate scholarship awards; actively respond and effectively deploy the movement "The whole country emulates building a learning society, promoting lifelong learning in the period 2023 - 2030"; Advise and propose mechanisms and policies to develop education and training and build a learning society.
In particular, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union well implemented the contents of the movement "The whole country emulates building a learning society, promoting lifelong learning in the period 2023 - 2030"; Build agencies and units of the Central Youth Union and affiliated provinces, cities and Youth Unions to become "Learning Units"; Each union member and youth in the entire Union becomes a "Learning Citizen" and plays the core role in building their family and clan into a "Learning Family" and "Learning Family".
The Youth Union promotes the organization of emulation movements, campaigns and activities to support and promote lifelong learning among union members and children; Strengthen propaganda of exemplary union members, young people, pupils, students, and outstanding teachers.
The Vietnam Association for Promoting Education propagates and implements relevant contents in the "Vietnam Youth Development Strategy for the period 2021 - 2030" and the movement "The whole country competes to build a learning society and promote learning." lifelong training period 2023 - 2030"; Provide updated documents and support the compilation of documents on lifelong learning for union members and young people; Guidance on implementing the criteria "Learning Citizen"; Coordinate and promptly praise officials, union members, and children with outstanding academic achievements.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan, President of the Central Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Learning, highly appreciated the pioneering, creative and pioneering spirit of youth and the Youth Union organization. In particular, the Youth Union's movements serving learning have been deployed very effectively. With 6 content groups coordinated between the two units, each officer, union member, and youth will uphold the spirit and responsibility of regular, lifelong learning.
