Rerouting cars onto the Cau Gie Expressway.

TPO - The Vietnam Road Administration has adjusted the temporary traffic management plan for the Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway from today (July 17th) to ensure safe operation during the construction of phase 2 of the Phu Thu interchange and connecting road project in Tien Hiep commune, Phu Ly city, Ha Nam province.

The Vietnam Expressway Investment and Development Corporation (VEC) announces the temporary traffic diversion and organization schedule for the Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway (section Km225+900-Km227+500) starting from July 17th.

According to the plan, for vehicles traveling from Hanoi to Ninh Binh on the expressway, upon seeing sign R.301d "vehicles are only allowed to turn right" (at Km225+920), turn right onto the expressway exit/entrance section (newly constructed section), then continue for another 900m. Upon seeing the sign indicating "expressway exit; rest stop entrance" (at Km226+840), vehicles can choose one of two directions to reach Ninh Binh.

Specifically, for vehicles not entering the rest stop: Follow the "expressway exit" signs to exit the expressway towards Ninh Binh. For vehicles entering the rest stop: Follow the "rest stop entrance" signs to enter the rest stop. After using the rest stop service, continue along the connecting branch to exit the expressway towards Ninh Binh.

Similarly, for vehicles traveling from Ninh Binh to Hanoi on the expressway, upon seeing sign R.301d "vehicles are only allowed to turn right" (at Km227+400), turn right onto the expressway exit/entrance section (newly constructed section), then continue for another 50m. Upon seeing the sign "Exit to expressway; Entrance to rest stop" (at Km227+300), vehicles can choose one of the two directions to reach Hanoi.

Specifically, for vehicles not entering the rest stop: Follow the "expressway exit" signs to exit the expressway towards Hanoi. For vehicles entering the rest stop: Follow the "rest stop entrance" signs to enter the rest stop, and after using the rest stop service, continue along the connecting branch to exit the expressway towards Hanoi.

Vehicles traveling on the highway at 120 km/h will gradually reduce their speed as they approach the project construction area, following instructions. The permitted speed when vehicles pass through the project construction area is no more than 60 km/h.

VEC requests that vehicles traveling on the route, upon encountering any incidents or detecting any unusual events, contact the hotline staff at 1900 1838 (available 24/7) for information reception and processing.
