(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Authorities have recently discovered the remains of a fallen soldier in Quang Tri province along with many artifacts, including a pen engraved with characters.


On the afternoon of December 26th, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command reported that the unit's team for searching and collecting the remains of fallen soldiers had discovered and exhumed the remains of a fallen soldier in the garden of Mr. Tran Thai Hoa's house in Truong Phuoc village, Hai Lam commune, Hai Lang district (Quang Tri).

The remains of the fallen soldier were found at a depth of more than 1 meter, wrapped in a canvas and hammock, along with some artifacts such as a water bottle, an infantry shovel, and a fountain pen engraved with the words "Hong Xuyen".

Authorities have exhumed, preserved, and transported the remains to the Martyrs' Cemetery in Hai Lang district for burial, and are now gathering relevant information.
