Discovered martyr's remains with pen engraved with the words "Hong Xuyen"

(Dan Tri) - Authorities have just discovered the remains of a martyr in Quang Tri along with many relics, including an engraved pen.


On the afternoon of December 26, according to the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command, the unit's Martyr Remains Search and Collection Team had just discovered and recovered a martyr's remains in the garden of Mr. Tran Thai Hoa's house, Truong Phuoc village, Hai Lam commune, Hai Lang district (Quang Tri).

The relic is a pen accompanying the martyr's remains (Photo: Thanh Thanh).

The martyrs' remains were found at a depth of more than 1 meter, wrapped in a tent and hammock, along with some relics such as a pitcher, an infantry shovel and a fountain pen engraved with the words "Hong Xuyen".

The authorities have exhumed, preserved and brought the remains to the Hai Lang District Martyrs' Cemetery, and are collecting related information.
