On the morning of June 4th, "Hero ," the film starring Thai Hoa, was almost certainly out of the question for ticket sales. According to Box Office Vietnam statistics, the film ranked at the bottom of the box office charts, with only 7 screenings remaining and 4 tickets sold. The film is about to leave theaters, with its revenue stopping at approximately 46 billion VND .
With these results, Hero is likely to leave investors with a loss. This is unfortunate for director Vo Thach Thao's film project, as the film was once considered to be of fairly good quality compared to the general standard of Vietnamese films. Released during the April 30th holiday, the film was also considered a strong contender, featuring a cast of talented actors and backed by a powerful distribution company.
Upon its release, Hero had the largest number of screenings among Vietnamese films released at the same time. However, in a fiercely competitive market, this advantage was not enough to help the film achieve the box office success it had hoped for.

Overall, Hero is a well-made, professional film with many commendable aspects. Director Vo Thach Thao capitalizes on his strengths in exploring family conflicts, creating believability in a story that is inherently somewhat illogical. However, this overly cautious and meticulous approach makes Hero somewhat less appealing to a wider audience.
Besides "Hero ," "A Time We Loved, " starring Quoc Truong, is also about to leave theaters. On the same day, the film only sold 7 tickets across 4 screenings, resulting in negligible revenue. In fact, "A Time We Loved" only ran in theaters for about 3 weeks. However, the poor sales prevented the film from maintaining its screening schedule. According to Box Office Vietnam , the film has only grossed about 2 billion VND so far.
In addition, Vietnamese films released during the April 30th holiday, such as "Phi Phong" and "Heo Nam Mong," have reached the end of their release period and no longer maintain the strong competitive edge they once did. In their final days, these films are only allocated a few dozen screenings and are likely to leave theaters next week.
