Vietnamese films and stage productions achieve great success.

Despite much debate and mixed reviews, Tran Thanh's film "The Four Vengeful Spirits" remains a major hit during the 2025 Lunar New Year film season.

According to statistics from Box Office Vietnam, by noon on February 2nd, "The Four Villains" had grossed over 173.4 billion VND, topping the Vietnamese box office for both the day and the entire Lunar New Year film season. The film also achieved several other successes: the highest number of advance ticket sales for a Vietnamese film with 129,000 tickets; and the fastest Vietnamese film to surpass 100 billion VND in revenue after just 3 days in theaters.

"The Revengeful Quartet," starring Miss Vietnam Tiểu Vy, Miss Vietnam Kỳ Duyên, Quốc Anh, Lê Dương Bảo Lâm, Lê Giang, Uyển Ân, and Trấn Thành, was released in theaters on January 29th. The film received many reviews, with some saying it was a "step backward" for Trấn Thành compared to his previous works, due to its bland script, noisy humor, and lack of lasting impact on viewers. However, some other viewers felt connected to the story, finding the film relatable to young audiences.

Thu Trang's film "Billion-Dollar Kiss" holds the second position with a to date revenue of over 32 billion VND. The film features a cast including Thu Trang, Doan Thien An, Ma Ran Do, and Le Xuan Tien. The film conveys a message about sisterhood and love against a backdrop of interwoven humor and emotion.
