On the morning of June 17th, a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City, led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi - Deputy Secretary of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee - visited press agencies to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).
Accordingly, the delegation visited the office of Dai Doan Ket newspaper in Ho Chi Minh City.
Here, Mr. Nghi, on behalf of the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, expressed his gratitude and best wishes to all the leaders, reporters, editors, and employees working at Dai Doan Ket newspaper.
Afterward, the delegation visited the Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper. Mr. Nghi also expressed his gratitude for the contributions and partnership of the Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper with Ho Chi Minh City over the past time.
In the context of the whole country implementing the restructuring and streamlining of the administrative apparatus with many historic resolutions, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee stated that Ho Chi Minh City is seriously and urgently implementing the general schedule to successfully carry out the revolution of streamlining the administrative apparatus, aiming to meet the requirements of being "lean, efficient, strong, effective, and efficient".
According to Mr. Nghi, the reorganization of commune-level administrative units, the implementation of a two-tiered local government model, and the merger of provinces and cities open up a larger new development space for Ho Chi Minh City, with greater potential, gradually forming a megacity. Therefore, the demands placed on Ho Chi Minh City are also greater.
In this context, the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City hope that media agencies will continue to accompany and support the overall development of Ho Chi Minh City, aiming to achieve the best possible results and successfully fulfill the set requirements.
