Currently, the Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station are implementing a cooperation program with nearly 20 departments, agencies, and localities in the province. Through this cooperation program, the Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station have developed 36 special features and programs on television and 10 special features in print newspapers.
Journalist Nguyen Dong Bac, Editor-in-Chief of Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station, affirmed: "Over the years, Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station have paid attention to and proactively coordinated with agencies, units, districts, and cities in carrying out propaganda tasks through various media channels. Implementing coordination programs and regulations, we have directed specialized departments and reporters to develop propaganda plans and special features, adhering to the principles, objectives, and content of the coordination. This ensures truthful, accurate, complete, timely, and effective dissemination of information on events, situations, and tasks of units, sectors, and localities. This contributes to the successful achievement of political goals and tasks in the locality."
Accordingly, the coordinated propaganda content is diverse across various aspects of social life, closely following the implementation of tasks and professional issues of the sector, field, and locality. Emphasis is placed on publicizing and commending exemplary collectives and individuals, those with innovative approaches and initiatives in carrying out tasks in various fields of units, sectors, and localities, in order to replicate these advanced models. For example, from the beginning of 2025 to the present, Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station have produced more than 80 programs on television and 160 programs on local television channels.
For print media, in accordance with the program and coordination regulations, the Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station maintain regular features, with over 100 features already published, such as "Administrative Procedure Reform"; "For the Security of Lang Son"; "New Rural Development"... In addition to these features, the print newspaper also publishes many news articles, photos, and reports reflecting the fields and activities of departments, agencies, units, and localities in the province.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Quyen, Deputy Head of the Political Department of the Provincial Police, said: "In the past, the Provincial Police and the Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station have regularly coordinated in disseminating information about the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws on ensuring security, social order and safety, and building the police force. This has contributed to timely information and communication about the activities of the force."
In addition, the Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station develop monthly, quarterly, and annual propaganda plans; assigning reporters and groups of reporters to be responsible for specific sectors, fields, areas, and sections. Reporters assigned to specific sections also proactively coordinate and gather information for timely and effective dissemination, ensuring the quantity and quality of news articles and reports according to the plan.
Ms. Hoang Thi Lan, a reporter from the Television Department, shared: "Currently, I am assigned to cover three segments: 'Women of Lang Son Today,' 'Elected Representatives and Voters,' and 'Culture and Sports of Lang Son' on television. Compared to regular news reports, thematic reports focus on in-depth reflection, analysis, and exploration of many aspects of an issue, requiring reporters to possess skills ranging from researching documents, interviewing, evaluating, and assessing issues, to scriptwriting, filming, and editing."
