On May 27th, in an interview with a reporter from Thanh Nien Newspaper, a leader of the People's Committee of Dak Glong District ( Dak Nong Province ) stated that the police are still investigating and handling the case of a parent assaulting a teacher because they believed the teacher was responsible for their child receiving an average conduct grade, which recently occurred in Quang Son Commune (Dak Glong District).
According to the leaders of the Dak Glong District People's Committee, Mr. LMD, the parent who assaulted the teacher, is also a teacher working at a school in Quang Son commune. "The case is still under investigation by the police. We have also submitted a report to the Provincial People's Committee," the leaders of the Dak Glong District People's Committee added.

As Thanh Nien Newspaper reported, on the evening of May 25th, Ms. VTKQ (a teacher at Le Duan High School, Quang Son commune, Dak Glong district) was at her home in Quang Son commune when she was suddenly verbally abused and then physically assaulted by Mr. LMD. Mr. D. is the parent of LMQ, a student at Le Duan High School.
Ms. Q. shouted for help, and neighbors came to intervene and assist her, subsequently reporting the incident to the authorities.
According to initial assessments, the incident stemmed from LMQ receiving an average conduct grade; potentially making her ineligible to take entrance exams for some universities.
Previously, LMQ had behaved disrespectfully towards Ms. VTKQ, so she wrote a negative comment in the class register. This is also believed to be one of the reasons why Q. received an average conduct grade at the end of the school year.
Regarding the above incident, on May 26, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province issued a document requesting the Provincial Police to investigate and strictly punish those responsible, and to report back to the Provincial People's Committee.
