The Women's Association of Ban Thac village currently has 124 members, and supporting members in economic development is identified as one of its important tasks. Based on practical production experience, the Association has propagated and encouraged members to participate in suitable economic models such as growing mung beans, fragrant pumpkins, raising black pigs, and free-range geese. These models utilize natural conditions, require little investment, and are suitable for the production level of the local people. Many members, after participating in these models, have gained additional income and gradually improved their family's living standards.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Luyen, Head of the Women's Association in Ban Thac village, said: "The association has done a good job in receiving entrusted loans from banks. Currently, the association manages a total capital of over 9 billion VND. The review, disbursement, and management of capital are carried out transparently and correctly, creating conditions for members to access preferential capital for production and livestock farming. As a result, many members have more opportunities to invest in economic development and stabilize their lives. The association has also promoted the movement of helping members through labor days, with more than 1,000 labor days in 2025. Support activities are implemented flexibly, suitable to each specific circumstance, such as helping members' families with rice planting, assisting in the demolition of temporary or dilapidated houses, providing labor when families face difficulties; and mobilizing members to contribute rice and firewood to support those with funerals." Ms. Be Thi Hoan, a member who received support in the form of labor to demolish her temporary house, shared that thanks to the help of the branch association and its members, her family has been able to rebuild a more solid house, allowing them to work and produce with peace of mind and stabilize their lives.

Beyond focusing on economic development, the activities of the Ban Thac Village Women's Association also contribute to improving the spiritual lives of its members. Through association meetings, members exchange production experiences, share knowledge on family care and child rearing, and encourage each other to overcome life's difficulties. As a result, the role and status of women in the family and community are gradually being enhanced. Ms. Nong Thi Diep, President of the Yen Hoa Commune Women's Union, stated that the Ban Thac Village Women's Association has implemented many practical activities suitable to local conditions. Movements to help each other develop economically and support disadvantaged members are regularly maintained, contributing to improving the quality of life for women in the area.
Through specific and effective methods, the Women's Association of Ban Thac village has successfully played its role as a bridge supporting its members in economic development and improving their lives. The results achieved provide a foundation for the Association to continue innovating its content and methods of operation, contributing to the realization of the local socio-economic development goals in the future.
